I'm a journalist who's learning how to code.

I'm currently the editor-in-chief of, the network of tech news sites that cares about place. We're in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Brooklyn, Delaware and Washington, D.C. As ever, more TK.

Before that I was a public radio guy. I manned the "Innovations Desk" at WHYY for two years and helped launch a great little health and science show, The Pulse. Before that it was WXXI in Rochester, N.Y., covering tech and entrepreneurship.

I've always been addicted to news. I love playing sports. I'm trying to make news apps. I made this during a part-time course at the New York Code + Design Academy. Pleasure to meet you.

RAM News

I made a Random Article Machine with a bunch of great articles about Philly. Serendipity is good.
