I'm a journalist who's learning how to code.
I'm currently the editor-in-chief of Technical.ly, the network of tech news sites that cares about place. We're in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Brooklyn, Delaware and Washington, D.C. As ever, more TK.
Before that I was a public radio guy. I manned the Innovations Desk at WHYY for two years and helped launch a great little health and science show, The Pulse. Before that it was WXXI in Rochester, N.Y., covering tech and entrepreneurship.
I've always been addicted to news. I suck at reading books. I love playing sports. I'm trying to make news apps. I recently finished a part-time course at the New York Code + Design Academy. Pleasure to meet you.
I made a Random Article Machine with a bunch of great articles about Philly. Serendipity is good.
The best way to know what I'm up to is to subscribe to the Technical.ly daily newsletter, but I won't spam you like that. :sunglasses:
Instead, sign up for my much, much, much less regular email newsletter below. It'll contain the answers to life's lingering questions (and top-notch 'tent).
